13 Comments:

  1. 1) Why is it that three times the amount of people watching Iron Man 2 over Iron Man 3? Have people really not discovered how to find multichannels?
    2) How is it that Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3 are on two different channels on the same night? Were they on at the same time?
    3) Is Main Event exempt/not included on Foxtel rating? Surely that was the number 1 program on STV yesterday

    • It appears Aussies simply prefer Iron Man 2 over 3.
TEN has the rights to 2, while SEVEN have the rights to 3; 2 was 7:30 3 was 8:30.

  2. Went channel surfing last night. Avoided the Logies and MKR rubbish and watched Animal Super Senses on the ABC, followed by V8 Supercar highlights on ONE. See that the V8’s attracted only 63,000 on Pay TV. Big mistake by the V8 Supercar people giving it to Foxtel.

    • Greed always backfires. V8 racing will die this year or next year.
Same greed happening with F1 racing. Very sad times.
Don’t they know that vast majority of TV audiences are watching FTA TV? 🙁

      • V8 Supercars or F1 won’t die anytime soon. V8 has guaranteed that the series will be around 2020 and its exciting times at V8 Supercars. The F1 will be around for years to come. Nobody else wanted it including Seven as they were going to offer highlight which includes Bathurst 1000. The SuperSprint rounds don’t attract huge numbers at both TV and on track so that’s why it won’t look good on FTA.

  3. The Logies might be slightly up on last year but think its loosing its appeal now, I am sure that there used to be a lot more viewers in past years, perhaps if it goes to another channel, but after saying that the speeches are always the same year after year and very boring, everyone has to thank everybody they know with no variation, the Oscars are exactly the same. Also why all overseas artists, don’t we have some amazing talent here in Australia?

  4. Shoudy Chen

This years Logies has improved from last year thanks to Live coverage.
But on the other note 7 news did pretty well in Adelaide thanks to the AFL Showdown.
