18 Comments:

  1. Watched Masterchef on 10 and loved it. Great guest chef last night. Hope he comes back next year.
Recorded The Killing Season on 2. Very well done and an eye opener, even though we have read their books. Watched it straight after M/Chef.
Recorded Love Child for my wife to watch another day.
Watched some other recordings after Killing Season.

  2. Love child is loosing numbers since it started, wondered if it could retain its interest with viewers, it will be interesting to see if it goes much lower it will go, or if it will have a re-bound.

    • I record it for my wife but after seeing about 10 minutes of it I went back to reading something far more worth while. Not my kind of show.

  3. Masterchef success has definitely helped other TEN shows…like The Project and Have You Been Paying Attention…which is great. Both shows that have deserved better ratings pre Masterchef. (mind you the Project always performs better in winter and out of daylight savings) The big question is…what happens after Masterchef. Ten needs to keep the momentum going. What will they be showing after Masterchef?

    • Hopefully they launch straight into The Bachelor. They certainly don’t need to have another awkward gap between key shows like they did earlier this year after I’m A Celebrity when they were waiting for MKR to finish.

      • Actually Ten isn’t going straight into The Bachelor as Ten have got The Great Australian Spellling Bee in Q3. The Bachelorette is another 2 months away. God knows for The Bachelor. I think it was smart programming by Ten to wait for MKR to finish before launching MCA. I have a funny feeling that The Great Australian Spelling Bee will do well for Ten

  4. How did Sunrise & Today rate? I still can’t understand why 9 would gift an exclusive origin team announcement to Sunrise? They know they hold the rights, right?

  5. I’m probably a bit late to noticing, but coding The Project as two separate shows at 6:30 & 7 is ridiculous, it’s not two shows according to the TV guide, what’s next, The Project 6:45?

  6. The rating for The Project seem to be rising lately. I thought after Charley and Dave left that I would turn off. To my surprise I am liking Pete and Walleed more.

    • I have to agree we are warming to Waleed Ali as well. Pete is our favourite but even ex: Newscorp Steve Price has softened and is not so extremely biased towards conservative side of politics. Good to see and thus ratings increase, a well deserved one, helped along a fair bit by MasterChef success. 🙂

  7. bettestreep2008

Ten’s main station narrowly wins the night. Can you imagine how much better they would have rated if they didn’t have a repeat of NCIS on?

And the ratings for The Project were very good too.

    • Well NCIS season finished very recently and yet people still tune in to watch repeats as it is a top show with great character actors 🙂
