Surprised there is no one from Home and Away – and yet again they couldn’t convince Pete Evans to dance.
About half are genuine local celebs but Jude Bolton’s wife and a couple of reality TV contestants are dubious.
I don’t watch the series but admit their ads and promos are very well done.
And David – isn’t it possible Katie Price might be coming down for Celebrity Big Brother? There’s been rumours that Nine have been considering bringing it back.
And after Donald Trump’s racist rants and running for -cough – President, the Apprentice brand has been damaged somewhat.
Sounds like Celeb Apprentice coming not Celeb BB.
Do they think Bruno will bring viewers, I think not. I saw him briefly last time….just over the top and I could not understand him.
Larry and Alana will be great. Alana partnered Rob and he and Larry have the same sort of humour. Great matchup.
They have a pretty good line up. Most names are familiar. Lynette Bolton a star, not really. But Im pretty sure I read they wanted a husband/wife dance off like the brackens a few years ago.
ash will be interesting.
Its nice to have a para Olympian represented and it will be interesting to see how Kelly goes especially with her being pregnant.
Emma Freedman will bring a bright personality. Nice to see Aric still there as well.
What? no one from Home and Away?
I wonder if Bruno will be doing just one week or a few more. From what i’ve heard he won’t be doing the entire series but not sure of the extent. The cast is ok this year but no one really stands out. Will still watch as i do enjoy this and every season someone always surprises. I would love an all-star version next year. Would be great if you ask me.
“Wedding planner and WAG”
Once again, the definition of ‘stars’ takes a beating.
Ten must not be happy with Bachelor Tim going on DWTS. With everyone crossing networks, I would not be surprised is future contracts for reality shows include a “can’t go on the other networks” clause.
Well that’s fine if they want to pay him to not go on another network. At some point the talent stops being paid and becomes a free agent.
@MM I disagree. Think this series has a stronger celebrity factor than some series in the past.
I’m so happy Larry has been partnered with Alana. They will be a lot of fun to watch.
Interesting choice of Kelly Cartwright, following the success of Noah Galloway in the US version…. I imagine she will be very popular which is great to put the shine on our Paralympic stars!!!
Katie Price did say she was doing an a Australian reality show. What else is left?
Celebrity Apprentice to come.
Even if they are running out of people to do the show and if it is the last series think it has had a fantastic run and channel seven should be proud of its achievements with this series.
Looks like Seven has scraped the bottom of the barrel this time around for participants. I think this will definitely be the final series of this show.
Fair comment but haven’t we heard this in the last few years before the launch of the show? And I saw the promo and it appears that some river cruise is sponsoring the show? It makes me wonder if Seven is trying to target the older demographic this year more so than previous years?
Also remember Bruno Tonioli is a UK judge as well as a US judge of dancing with the stars …… This will mean he will be doing all three in a year
