  1. Secret Squïrrel

I don’t know how well it was publicised but I only found out that the Bosch ep last night was a new one a couple of hours before it was due to be broadcast (and I almost assumed that it was a repeat and didn’t check). Wouldn’t be completely surprised if other people also didn’t realise this.

Glad I watched. Def picked up from the first ep. Better exposition and some solid performances all round.

  2. Proves a point that most people now have access to HD TV or desk top sets so why not move the main channel onto HD if not all of them???? The other thing l am curious to know is the take up by people who dont see the original run of a reality show but have watched an encore of it??? Do encores hook new audiences or are they watched by the same folk???

  3. jezza the first original one

Mega numbers for Gem, you just couldn’t miss a ball on the cricket last night. Superb live sport. Finally Go Back gets the numbers it deserves for such dated, leftie politically contrived nonesense, SBS wasted too much of their scarce dollars on this hapless project…

  4. The Ashes being on is like having an extra main channel – thank goodness Nine haven’t fallen into the trap of airing it live and blurry on Nine with the misguided belief that more people will watch on Nine. Ashes seems to be number one show for timeslots after 7.30pm!

Gem was within 0.1% of beating Seven last night and thereby being second most watched channel after Nine itself.

  5. So Restaurant Revolution is beaten by Million Dollar Minute the show Seven are allegedly replacing with The Chase, does not bode well for Restaurant Revolution. Perhaps Seven Two will become it’s permanent home (rather than the 10:30pm repeat like last night) if the Grand Opening and Public Opening episodes fail to fire on Monday and Tuesday.

  6. Oh dear – The Hotplate is cooling down. May be totally off soon. 9 got saved by GEM.

    Watched The Bachelor on 10.
Recorded Doc Martin and Lewis on 72.
Watched more recordings off DVR. 🙂
