Serviced apartments used to accommodate contestants on The Voice has been the subject of police surveillance due to drug-related activity.

The Meriton serviced apartments in Zetland, which is home to contestants appearing on The Voice, has been the target of police operations and drug-related arrests, according to News Corp.

It claims escorts and prostitutes are using the site on weekends, allegedly as makeshift brothels.

NSW Police have been working with management on the problem for more than a year while security guards hired by the network performed nightly patrols.

A former Voice contestant, Paris Cassar told KIIS FM today she hadn’t seen any trouble.

“I thought it was a great place to stay,” she said.

“I never saw any of that.

“The worst thing was some girl crying in the middle of the night but I think she was breaking up with her boyfriend, so that’s another story.”

Coaches for The Voice are accommodated elsewhere.
