10 Comments:

  1. Recorded Cycling highlights on SBS30 to watch late at night.
Recorded The Voice final on 9 and watched off DVR from 08:15pm
Recorded Dancing WTStars on 7 and watched after the Voice.
Lots of spooling through the time fillers made that possible. We had visitors – so not possible to sit down at 7pm and be glued to ch 9. Thank you DVR.

  2. Most predicted this would happen. Lowest Grand Final yet. At least it didn’t repeat last years blunder, of having the Winner Announced coded segment fall below the actual Grand Final 😀

Apart from Seven loving Adelaide & Perth, I think Melbourne’s numbers are key.

We all know they’re the #1 TV viewing market and always have been. They could have easily have gotten around 600k (for example) over Sydney’s numbers last night.

But no. Melbourne dropped off in droves this year, for shows like MasterChef, The Bachelor, etc. Look at the timeshifted numbers for MasterChef Winner Announced 2010…

Around 1.4m Melburnians alone :O Astonishing. We’ll never see that again!?,

    • My first thought when I saw the voice finales ratings was that it was pretty similar to a regular episode. Therefore it didn’t seem to attract random one off viewers who didn’t watch the series that may just watch because its a reality final.

  3. spectrum warrior

Well done 60 minutes. They had a really late start and still kept an audience. Or these numbers are actually the voice and a correction will happen latter in the week.

  4. Good numbers for The Voice GF considering the ratings for the final few episodes of the season. I am extremely happy that Masterchef Australia will be the highest rating reality program of the year (Winner Announced)… they thoroughly deserve it.
