Yet another advertorial sneaks into Seven's primetime schedule.

Bad news for fans of Bones as Seven schedules a special looking at its own Pacific Magazines publication Marie Claire, Under the Covers.

It airs at 10pm on Sunday following Dancing with the Stars, and as a result Bones is out for the week.

The special has been produced by Seven.

marie claire, Australia’s number one fashion magazine, will this Sunday, 23 August, launch a one-off TV special, airing on the Seven Network, immediately following Dancing With The Stars. Coinciding with the masthead’s 20th anniversary this month, the one-hour episode will celebrate the fabulous fashion, inspirational features, heartbreaking stories and celebrity moments from the past 20 years. The program will include interviews with some of Australia’s best-known stars and iconic fashion identities, including Jennifer Hawkins, Megan Gale, Dannii Minogue, Jessica Mauboy, Napoleon Perdis and Alex Perry.

Seven has recently come under criticism for screening primetime specials that promote McDonald’s, Telstra, Target and Royal Caribbean Cruises.

Seven still hosts the datacasting channels 4ME and racing.com

  1. Bones is rating <200k in the overnights and skewing older. It picked up 130k for the last consolidated figures.

If people were watching it, it wouldn't have been bumped. There's only 2 eps left so there is going to be a minimum of a month without Bones. Though they could give the series a rest with those numbers.

  2. This should be on the datacast channel, or at most 7Two. Not the primary channel on a Sunday night, and having to push drama out of the way for it.

  3. Why does drama have to make way for this advertorial nonsense? Its always drama that gets sacrificed for reality shows, 1hr news, shows filled with youtube videos, now advertorials. Its getting old. Dislike it when bones gets played around with asked there is no catch up available when an ep is missed. Is bones returning the following sunday or has it been removed from the schedule?

    1. I agree, the lack of drama and treatment it receives is disgusting!
Mindless drivel like youtube videos now as TV shows and still 60 minute news and any drama gets shafted for Reality. Self Regualtion is a joke!
