FOX Sports hosted a world record-breaking rugby scrum of 1208 fans at ANZ Stadium yesterday, ahead of the opening Bledisloe Cup.
Wallabies legends John Eales, George Gregan, Tim Horan, Phil Kearns, Greg Martin and Rod Kafer and netballer Liz Ellis joined the participants to set the (unofficial) world record, smashing England’s record of 1008 set in 2014 at Twickenham.
The event was planned ‘to send a message to England and the world that the Wallabies are coming for them ahead of the RWC 2015.’
The numbers will be sent to the Guinness World Record for verification.
