Gina Riley is joining the cast of Josh Thomas’ third season of Please Like Me.

The much-loved performer will play Donna, the mother of Arnold (Keegan Joyce), boyfriend of Josh. Her on-screen husband Bruce, will be Geoff Morrell.

Riley is having a busy year appearing in Open Slather, upcoming ABC drama The Beautiful Lie and acclaimed feature film Holding the Man.

Please Like Me, which just picked up an AWGIE Award, returns on October 15 just before its US release.

  1. I’ve seen HTM and had no idea Gina was in it either, until I saw her listed in the cast on imDb … who did she play? Must have been a brief cameo, or maybe I’m blind?

    1. I saw HTM yesterday, and despite looking out for Gina, I didn’t see her either. Apparently she played a “popcorn seller”, but I don’t recall a popcorn seller in the film.
