  1. Have to agree with previous comments, I enjoy watching the chase uk because the chasers, contestants and Bradley all have a good time especially when they throw in a curve ball question that has Bradley in fits of giggles. I have nothing against AOK but to me the australian version is just boring, why not just show chase uk at 5, I reckon it would rate just as well. Channel 7 seem to be losing their ‘golden’ touch with recent programming decisions.

  2. Ten Eye-Witness News is coming back up in ratings – thank goodness. Hope they retain their 5pm spot for their news now. No matter what 7 & 9 try they have not been able to kill off Ten News at Five 🙂

  3. Good night for Ten and well deserved imho. 🙂 Point of difference in programming is what I am referring to.
Watched Family Feud on 10, then The Project and The Bachelor and happy with the final woman he chose. Hope they stay together.
Recorded The XFactor on 7 and watched after Bachelor. Good show apart from one guy they let through for who knows what reason. Guy danced more than singing poorly 🙁
Recorded Doc Martin and Judge John Deed on 72 to watch another day. 🙂

  4. I would be assuming channel 7 would be devastated with The Chase ratings! The problems would be Andrews flamboyant hosting style! The reason the UK version works so well is that Bradley Walsh has one of the most charismatic and watchable hosting styles that is easy to endure for a whole hour! His comedic timing and interaction with the contestants and chasers are on point. Whether or not the contestants win become irrelevant! Unfortunately due to Andrews acquired personality mannerisms, the chase australia needs all the contestant wins it can get!! Btw other issues is that their is a lack of diversity with contestants and questions. Seems like you need a Harvard degree to be on the show!! And mind you the minus offer which can sometimes cause friction with the contestants is nowhere to be seen!! C’mon channel 7 stick to the original UK format and make a change of host because loyal…

  5. I’m in shock. Almost 1.5 million for the Bachelor. Well done Ten. And can you imagine if they had decent shows after the Bachelor how much bigger the ratings would have been?

Should be interesting to see how the Bachelorette fairs next week.

  6. I know it is only in its first week but the Brisbane figures for The Chase must be a concern for Seven. It hasn’t been over 100k all week and Hot Seat is pretty much doubling it. Time for the promo department to get creative because it is doing well everywhere else.

    • They’re running a promo now – viewers can win the same amount as the contestants.

Which, judging by what I’ve seen so far, would equal $0

      Good one, Seven.

  7. Amazing for Ten this year!

    Nearly 1.5m for winner announced.

Seven & Nine’s multi-channels just a tad too strong to give the Network bragging rights.

Every other stat was own though 🙂

Neighbours? Fell out of the too 20? Seriously, they’re not going to axe it, so they’ll surely have to move it back to Ten at 6:30pm some stage, maybe to get it back around 400k+ at least?

  8. Well done on 10’s primary channel being number one!
I wonder when 7 will let viewers know that are going to mess about with Home and Away again and advertise a triple episode soon, since there was only a single and not a double as is usual this Thursday evening.

    • That’s why I stopped watching home and away got tired of chasing it around the schedule. And viewers can’t blame AFL cause last night it was moved for a reality show.

  9. Wow, awesome night for channel 10. They are doing really well with the reality shows this year. (aside from TBL) I hope they take on Big Brother next year.
