All of these shows got released on DVD in the last three years. And I bought them. So my interest in this programming block is nil. They need to (1) play some of the live action stuff, as mentioned below by others (2) make this a permanent fixture in their schedule (3) include “Doug”, “Angry Beavers” and “As Told By Ginger” (4) Make it run from 10pm to 6am so there’s plenty of time for plenty of shows. Given that Foxtel now charges $10/month extra to get the pack that includes Nickeloden, they should take all feedback on board and go for it!
Sounds cool, but instead of being tied to an anniversary, the Retro Nick thing should be a part of the regular line-up.
I also wish they would show the live action shows like Alex Mack [still remember watching it on ABC after school as a kid] and some of the WB cartoons they had like Batman TAS, Superman and Justice League.
It really was the golden age of Nickelodeon and it’s good to see this happening. But what I wish most is that they’d bring back the brilliant Nick at Nite.
wish they would bring back Kenan & Kel, Pete & Pete, Clarissa Explains it All, Alex Mack, and game shows like Guts and Legends of the Hidden Temple.
I still love 90s cartoons. That was a time when the script and the story ideas were verygood and the animation was there to match it. Nowadays there are a few gems like Ben10 and Young Justice but the rest is ordinary. I remember watching the Nickelodeon content on TEN and ABC. ah those were the days.
