Things didn’t quite go as planned for Today’s Steve Jacobs during his Live weather cross from Tangalooma Island, thanks to a parasail and not much wind….

  1. It would have helped if the boat was actually travelling directly into the wind. I’m guessing that they wanted the beach panorama in the background. The boat was probably also asked to not go full speed to keep the noise down and to keep Jacobz closer to the water.

  2. You’d think The Today Show could at least get the name of the Island right, It’s Tangalooma Island Resort located on Moreton Island. I should know, I’ve worked for them for the better part of 5 years.

    Stevie was a good sport this morning though 😉
