Homeland has been renewed for a sixth season.
The current series, which has seen a creative reboot with its focus moved to Berlin with Miranda Otto, is averaging 2.7 million total US viewers.
The news comes after it collected a leading three SAG Award nominations , including mentions for best drama series and star Claire Danes.
Homeland is currently being fast-tracked on TEN.

Great news. Am really enjoying this season. If we could just forget about S3, this has been a pretty solid series. Miranda Otto has been a great addition so it’s a shame that her character is unlikely to be in S7.
