Tonight SBS begins a new series of Michael Mosley: Trust Me I’m a Doctor.
In the six part series, Dr. Michael Mosley and his medical team tackle questions with uncomplicated advice on important health issues and concerns.
How do you stop food cravings? What is the best way to cure crippling back pain? Is organic food really better for you? What really goes into herbal supplements?
From simple health tips like how to cure cramps, to the more baffling topics such as secrets to help keep the mind sharp throughout ageing, Dr Mosley and his team bring definitive answers to questions on an array of health topics.
The four medical masterminds bring their years of expertise to this new season, looking at the research surrounding the effectiveness of conventional medicine as well as unorthodox treatments. Michael joins volunteers in a study to discover whether a diet overhaul can lower cholesterol as successfully as drugs like statins, emergency doctor Dr Saleyha Ahsan reveals new research that could cure snoring, and British infectious diseases doctor Dr Chris van Tulleken investigates the truth behind skincare products: could they being doing more harm than good? And finally, surgeon and author Dr Gabriel Weston investigates a potentially groundbreaking new treatment for cancer.
By experimenting on their own bodies and visiting the world’s leading research hospitals, Dr Michael Mosley and his colleagues gather the evidence to provide answers to the everyday questions affecting people’s health.

Sad these are on SBS which has only 3% audience total .Should be on ABC & promoted.
Lol, I read the title as: ‘Mostly Trust Me I’m a Doctor’.
Don’t like the title. I don’t think trust and doctor should be put in the same sentence. Trust is earnt and not all doctors are worthy of trust.
Its getting to the stage who do you believe when it comes to these medical shows
He certainly keeps busy! I really like his delivery style and the fact that tests a lot of the things he’s investigating – diets, exercise regimes, drugs – on himself.
In year’s past this would have gone straight from the BBC to ABC and would have been a good addition to ABC2 instead of the junk and repeats that are usually on there.
