Postcards: May 13

Tonight on Postcards Rebecca Judd joins actor Jessica Tovey for cheap and cheerful hangouts in Brunswick, plus Warren Tredrea in Glenelg and Scherri-Lee Biggs explores Scarborough.

Warren Tredrea spends the day with Port Adelaide skipper Travis Boak at beachside Glenelg. They start at Travis’s favourite breakfast spot, The Organik Store & Café, then have lunch at The Moseley Bar & Kitchen owned by Travis and teammate Robbie Gray and their on-field enemy Ben Rutten, of the Adelaide Crows. And for dinner they choose the Tasca Viva Restaurant, a local favourite known for its sweet sangria and delicious Spanish tapas menu.

Shane Delia shops and cooks with chef Alla Wolf-Tasker at one of his favourite city escapes – the Lake House restaurant in Daylesford. They turn freshly caught trout and beautiful organic vegetables
into something special.

Over on the West Coast, Scherri-Lee Biggs explores three very different hotspots in Perth’s beachside precinct of Scarborough. First, breakfast at the Health Freak Café, which offers a vegan, high-protein and even a paleo section. Scherri-Lee then tries the grazing menu for lunch at Matisse Beach Club with its glamorous faux palm trees and luxurious day beds. Finally, she watches the sunset over the Indian Ocean with a cocktail at Scarborough Beach Bar.
