The Immunity pins are flying out the window on MasterChef this year with not one, but two pins handed out last night.

It was a night of doubles with both Chloe and Matt paired together in a challenge against chefs Thomas Woods and Hayden McFarlane.

Asked to cook one savoury and one sweet dish, with their ‘hero’ ingredient of choice, the contestants managed to outscore the professionals.

That brings a total of three Immunity pins handed out in a month, which is good for storylines because it adds an element of surprise and drama.

  1. The judges know who cooked what when they see it,it’s all a scam that is too predictable, by the way how can someone serve deep fried prawn head shells and they gush how good they are,yet the pros dish had the bitter melon and he only got 6’s, wonder why he put it on plate never get it at his restaurant! !!

  2. The immunity challenge is the weak link in Masterchef’s lineup. As if they don’t know who cooked what. And to keep the scoring above board, they should have to put an ‘A’ or ‘B’ on the score cards otherwise they could be just pulling out a score to help their preferred team win.
