The Monkees tour dates confirmed

As previously reported by TV Tonight, The Monkees are headed to Australia this year.

Two of the original stars Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork will perform from December 2nd, following their current US tour with their charting album, Good Times.

TheMusic reports the band will perform two shows in Christchurch and Auckland before taking their 50th anniversary tour to Brisbane, Tweed Heads, Hobart, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.

The show will feature all of The Monkees‘ hits, plus an intimate acoustic set and solo spots for both Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork.

Pre-sale tickets for all shows go on sale tomorrow between 9am-5pm, before going on sale to the general public from 9am this Thursday.
