Season 2 of UK sci-fi Humans begins at the end of the month.
It returns at 8:30pm Monday October 31st on ABC2, following on from Doctor Who spin-off Class.
This will be fast-tracked same day as the UK which is excellent news.
Based on the Swedish drama, Real Humans, the second season sees Carrie-Anne Moss join the cast as Dr Athena Morrow.
The drama series where the latest must-have gadget for a busy family is a synth – a life-like humanoid, returns for a second season.Â

This is a good show, anyone who likes sci fi should consider watching it
For those that haven’t seen the Swedish original it is available on SBS on Demand until the end of November.
Excellent series, great that there is more to come. For anyone wanting to see Real Humans (the original version) it is still available at SBS On Demand (Series 2 also airs late on Saturday nights on SBS2).
While I did enjoy the British version I really would love it if someone could give the Swedish version the funding needed for a third season. There were so many questions left unanswered and I really want know where that virus came from.
As a Sci-Fi fan I’m pleased to read that Humans is returning, the first season did a good job reimagining an excellent Swedish production most likely missed by most viewers on the SBS.
