Mariah: “It’s kind of difficult to talk about”

Mariah Carey has given an interview to Ellen DeGeneres ahead of her upcoming reality docu-series Mariah’s World.

DeGeneres raised the topic of her split with James Packer.

“I think I’m doing well,” Carey said.

“Everything happens for a reason. Things are the way they are.”

“But he didn’t want to be in the docu-series at all, and yet he’s in it?” DeGeneres asked.

“Allegedly…” Carey replied.

“Allegedly he didn’t want to be in it? Or allegedly he’s in it? He’s in it because I saw it,” said DeGeneres.

“You did. That’s what I’m saying. It’s kind of difficult to talk about at this moment, so I’m just going to compliment you on these decorations once again.”

Mariah’s World premieres 1pm Monday December 5 on E!
