ABC once again screens the annual Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo on New Year’s Day, celebrating Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th Birthday.

The 2016 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is a truly international event featuring acts and performers from around the world, marking Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th Birthday with a selection of Tunes of Glory, performed in front of the majestic Edinburgh Castle.

In this programme of highlights from the event, narrated by Bill Paterson, anniversaries are to the fore.
