ABC, TEN tie in third week.

There was a ratings upset on Saturday night when ABC topped the night, thanks largely to Death in Paradise.

It pushed Nine into second place and Seven into third. But the bottom fell out of TEN’s pants, at the same time.

The end result was that ABC and TEN tied for third place across the week, with ABC ahead on primary share.

Meanwhile the week saw another win for Seven in Total People, while Nine led in the Demos.

Seven won Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Nine was victorious in Sydney and Brisbane.

Seven won Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Nine took Thursday and ABC claimed Saturday.

Best brands this week were:

Seven: My Kitchen Rules (Mon: 1.17m), Seven News (Sun: 972,000), Sunday Night (843,000) and Bride and Prejudice (714,000).

Nine: Married at First Sight (Sun: 1.11m), Nine News (Sun: 981,000), A Current Affair (729,000) and Planet Earth II (641,000).

ABC: Death in Paradise (943,000), Midsomer Murders (846,000), ABC News (Sat: 827,000) and Grand Designs (680,000).

TEN: I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here (Elimination: 844,000), Gogglebox (701,0000), The Project (7pm: 526,000) and This is Us (508,000).

    For me…great series, Death in Paradise…I also love the new Midsomer Murders..but like most programs…I tend to watch them on Iview…at a time that suits me…..
    Tonight I turned on TV…it was on TEN..watched The Project and Feud…then.actually watched about 10 minutes of I’m a Celeb…people in fake TV sets…having crap poured all over them…Seriously?!?!?…I do not even like the ads for this show…what are people thinking…that they find this ‘viewing enjoyment’….
