Possible spoiler?
The Block contestants are facing a huge challenge this season with the show’s first-ever relocation of weatherboard homes onto a vacant lot in Elsternwick.
Instead of building new townhouses from the ground up, this year the show is understood to be planting 5 old weatherboard homes at 46 Regent Street.
The first of them is already in place with work underway ahead of contestants due in April.
Local real estate director Bill Stavrakis told Fairfax period homes in Elsternwick are selling for anywhere between $2.5 million and $5 million.
Nine is understood to have paid $10.34 million for the vacant site near ABC Ripponlea, which settled in January.

I wonder how the neighbours feel!!!!
That’s more like it. I might just start watching again, especially if there is more transparency about budget and less filler activities.
Is that real…or fake news…if houses cost so much around there…cannot see council approving this…*confused*
Taking a lead from The Block NZ doing this.
My first thought also.
At risk of many spoilers to come being so open this time.
I might need to move out then , tee hee !!!
