Airdate: Brainwashed by the Westboro Baptist Church

Next week SBS VICELAND screens a special Brainwashed by the Westboro Baptist Church.

This is the same US church that has featured in Louis Theroux specials.

…and this was the most inoffensive photo I could find.

The Westboro Baptist Church is notorious for pissing people off across the political spectrum. The most common way to become a member is to be born into it, a rite of passage that resembles more of a cult rather than a church.
