Brooke Shields has signed on for a recurring role on the 19th season of Law & Order: SVU.

No details about the character other than she will shake up Benson’s (Mariska Hargitay) world.

She has previously appeared on Suddenly Susan, Lipstick Jungle, Nip / Tuck and Hannah Montana, amongst others.

Created by prolific producer Dick Wolf, Law & Order: SVU chronicles the life and crimes of an elite squad of detectives who investigate sexually based crimes, starring Hargitay s, Ice T, Kelli Giddish, Peter Scanavino and Raul Esparza also star.

  1. Dam I hope she is just a new detective because lets be honest they need another on board to make things more interesting and I can see her as a likeable character too. Don’t mess with Olivia, maybe she’s the mother of her kid? the mother of that rapist guy
