The Loop marks 300 episodes

Scott Tweedie & Olivia Phyland will look back at the past 30 years in music in a primetime special.

ELEVEN music show The Loop celebrates its 300th episode this Saturday night, ahead of a new set for the show.

Hosts Scott Tweedie and Olivia Phyland will look back at the past 30 years in music, playing the most requested song from each year between 1988 and 2017.

The show launched with Tweedie back in 2012, with Phyland joining in July 2015.

The past 300 episodes of The Loop have delivered countless memorable moments, from Ed Sheeran pashing Scott on the ARIA Red Carpet, to Liv giving Jason Derulo a music lesson on the recorder.

Continuing the tradition, the 301st episode will see Scott and Liv kick off their next 100 episodes in spectacular style next Saturday, 28 October, with a full episode broadcast from the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, before they move to an all new set the following week.

9:30pm Saturday on ELEVEN.
