It’s a long way off but TEN has already confirmed its Australia Day Concert 2018 broadcast details with Grant Denyer & Sandra Sully to host live from Sydney Opera House on Friday, 26 January at 7.30pm.
Anthony Callea is the first performer named in a night that will include interview with recipients of the Australian of the Year Awards and annual fireworks.
“If you’ve had a big day and you’re still pulling the bindis out of your feet after a day of backyard cricket, this is a great chance to kick back and relax, sing in full voice and celebrate what it means to be Australian,” said Denyer. “It’s a great bookend to what is going to be a magnificent day right around Australia.”

Only been going for 2 years but it’s become a tradition already. Always a fun entertaining night. Shame KAK isn’t co hosting this year
If you are going to do this go all out and get a major performer, surely someone at Ten has some connections to get a decent star that people will want to tune into and watch
Grant Denyer is this decades Eddie McGuire. Not long now until he is running the network.
