Married at First Sight NZ producer breaks up catfight

What the? NZ producer actually stops reality contestants from arguing.

This is pretty rare…. a TV producer walked into an argument between contestants and stopped it in its tracks.

It happened on Married at First Sight‘s New Zealand series, during a fiery group dinner.

According to the NZ Herald, the dinner “descended into a bitchy catfight about who said what about whom.”

That was after the 6 couples were piled into chauffeur-driven cars and ferried through rush-hour traffic to ensure they were as agitated before a dinner exactly 160m from where they are staying in Central Auckland.

After tears, smirking, accusations and heated arguments, Warner Bros managing director Greg Heathcote intervened.

“Everyone just take a deep breath,” he told them.

“Now is not the time to be having this conversation.”

“So can we just go?” asked one poor bloke. “That would be good.”

“Yes,” gallant producer replied. “I think this party is over.”
