On Sunday Postcards catches up with Nine’s-own David Campbell this Sunday, ahead of his appearance in Dream Lover – The Bobby Darin Musical in Melbourne this summer.

They pop by the Art Centre’s newest eatery, Bambini Buzz, for coffee with Bobby Darin’s son, Dodd, to chat about the legendary entertainer. They then work up an appetite with a stroll around The Tan at the Botanic Gardens before heading to Transformer in Fitzroy for a vegan feast.

Later, Bec is off to Chadstone to get an early start on Christmas shopping. She stops at Woodstock Pizzcheria for a caffeine fix before zeroing in on Target, where Nunzio Miano, the head of creative, helps her out with all the on-trend decorations, gifts for the whole family, and the perfect Christmas Day outfit. Next Bec visits The Pantry on Church Street in Brighton for Christmas lunch supplies before serving up the feast on Target’s stylish kitchen and tableware range.

Meanwhile, Brodie Harper checks out the new Mercedes me store in the city, where Mercedes-Benz lifestyle meets Melbourne café culture. She samples the menu in the café that celebrates Victoria with a nod to Mercedes-Benz history. After architect Graham Burrows explains the store’s unique design she heads upstairs to Meet The Maker, a space where Melbourne artisans work, such as the barista team from St Ali. Finally, Brodie has a peek at the main attraction: the latest model Mercedes-Benz in the heart of the space.

We find Shane Delia digging into a mouthwatering croissant at Agathé Pâtisserie Petite in the historic Royal Arcade in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. Renowned pastry chef Agathé Kerr takes him to her original patisserie at the lively South Melbourne Market to teach him how to make her delightful treats, including a matcha croissant and a salted caramel cruffin, which is a hybrid of a croissant and a muffin.

And Lauren Phillips explores the magnificent Werribee Mansion and surrounding grounds. She takes a tour to learn about its fascinating history and wanders through the exquisite gardens that include the Sculpture Walk featuring contemporary Australian art. Lauren also visits the Vizard Exhibition at the mansion and pops by the original farmyard to have a look at the historic bluestone huts and thriving veggie garden.

5:30pm Sunday on Nine (Melbourne).
