activeTV produces specials for Netflix

activeTV (The Amazing Race Australia, Carols by Candlelight) have been commissioned to produce their first Netflix content, with 3 Southeast Asian comedy stand up specials.

Harith Iskander’s I Told You So, is the first local original comedy special from Southeast Asia.

In addition to Harith, activeTV filmed a night of stand-up comedy when Singapore’s Fakkah Fuzz and Malaysia’s Kavin Jay joined forces late last year for Almost Banned & Everybody Calm Down!, respectively.

“We were immensely proud to have been appointed by Netflix to produce these comedy specials” said activeTV’s Michael McKay. “It was especially important to us that they sat comfortably alongside the exceptional stand-up comedy shows Netflix produce around the world” he added.
