Kiddets extends WotWots brand on ABC KIDS

5 new space cadets are ready for training at a play school space academy on planet WotWot.

ABC KIDS has acquired animated preschool show Kiddets co-produced by New Zealand production company Pukeko Pictures & China’s Guangdong Huawen Century Animation Company.

A sister series to The WotWots, the 52 x 11 min series introduces 5 new WotWot characters, Patches, Dapper, Bounce, Stripes and Luna – young space cadets in training at a play school space academy on planet WotWot.

Under the watchful eye of SpottyWot and DottyWot who are based on planet Earth, Patches, Dapper, Bounce, Stripes and Luna learn all the skills they need to embark on a mission to a new world.

Richard Taylor, Co-Owner of Pukeko Pictures said, “We are thrilled to announce the sale of Kiddets to both Australia’s ABC KIDS and our local broadcaster, TVNZ. Kiddets is a delightful follow up to The WotWots which was seen in over a hundred countries including Australia and New Zealand and enjoyed an extensive licensing programme. Together with our Chinese co-production partners, Guangdong Huawen Century Animation Company and our international distributors, CAKE we look forward to seeing the same success for Kiddets.”

Devised by The WotWots creator, Martin Baynton, it is due to screen later this year.
