  1. Sorry to be so late! Where about is the Eurovision Grand Final? Surely it was top 20 at more than 240k! Also the Semi Final 1 didn’t make the top 20 either. Do you have the numbers for that? I’d be curious to know numbers for all shows, both live and same day evening replay.

  2. Visited TV Tonight early yesterday and scrolling down in the stories for the day was the winner country written for all to see. Could that not have been shown as Winner story for Eurovision here, so we had to actually click on it to see the spoiler?

Not happy with that at all 🙁

Anyway watched the show and enjoyed some of the performances. The winner act was a total farce. What were the public voters thinking? Anyway – we will do it all again next year LOL.

It aired live on SBS and in line with every year since it’s been airing live on SBS, as he did when Doctor Who was airing inline with the BBC broadcast and has done with other shows doing the same on Foxtel.

When it’s all over the news and already aired personally I think it’s fine as I agree Aired = News (and it’s nothing new for here I expect to see it in a headline).

Here is an article on Spoilers from 2015: https://tvtonight.com.au/2015/10/rules-of-spoilering.html

  3. Lets see if Ten can promote new SVU Ep this Thur because it’s on a good time 8.30 after masterchef Also Roseanne seems to be on too late for a show like that so surely there is a better earlier timeslot

  4. Intrigued to see Insiders (ABC Sunday morning political program) make the Top 20 as I think this must be a first. It shows that not all viewer attention is directed at prime time and people are looking for informed content at different times of the day and week.

I don’t want to get into the left v right argument about the ABC – my reference to informed content is about the overall quality of the commentators not their specific perspectives.

  5. Unfortunately, the HR producers have not listened to the viewers, and once again are showing the reveals/judging over two nights. This was very unpopular last season, and I am surprised that they haven’t fixed it.

    • harrypotter1994

I don’t watch House Rules anymore but when will they stop calling it “The New House Rules” in promos. This is the second season with the rebooted team.

  6. Jᴏʜɴɴʏ1P5

Well this throws an interesting thing into the mix, Olivia Newton-John: Hopelessly Devoted did better than it’s lead-in House Rules, which while still kind of around last years figures 2nd week Sunday is down a tad and this was the point it started going ahead of Masterchef (all Realities are down).

    Last Year Sunday: https://tvtonight.com.au/2017/05/sunday-7-may-2017.html
    The Voice: 1,084,000
    House Rules: 799,000
    Masterchef: 767,000

ABC was up a tad at 7:30pm as the Royal wedding thing got 160,000 more than last years Doctor Who and Agatha Christie 120,000 less than last years Grantchester. Sixtie Minutes was up 157,000 on last years 715,00, so seems where the commercial TV watchers fro the realities went a Royal Wedding and 60 Minutes. Sad to see NCIs do so poorly and that and with an episode where a regular popular cast member left, the 9:45pm timeslot wouldn’t have helped…

    • Jᴏʜɴɴʏ1P5

For Ten I don’t think that is so bad, a Sit-com on at 9:15pm on a Sunday Night pulling 304,000 is not that bad and effort, I mean new The Big Bang Theory is only pulling 579,000 on a Wednesday night at 8pm (not sure what the 2 hour later repeat at 10pm is pulling).
