  1. Masterchef is performing for Ten and no nasties is also producing excellent results with that show. Maybe 7 & 9 can tell their producers to turn the fake drama’s down a bit. Nigella is so lovely as a special guest and so humble yet strong. Loved watching her critiques 🙂

I also recorded the Queen and David Attenborough in her Buckingham Palace Gardens, watched it later in the night and that was very enjoyable imho. That was on ABC 20. I am over remakes of old musicals so no 7 for us at all last evening.

  2. Not much between the three main channels flag ship shows . Sundays used the most watched day of the week with 1m or above on a regular basis. Must be a bit of a worry regarding advertising revenue . No wonder Channels are reporting annual losses or downturn in revenue

  3. It’s sad to see FTA ratings drop so low. That no commercial channel can achieve 1M viewers post 7pm on what is traditionally the biggest night of viewing is pretty disappointing.

    • I’d love to know what everyone else is doing. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a house where the tv isn’t on but around 21 million of us aren’t watching anything (including foxtel, netflix etc). There aren’t that many children, people locked in nursing homes.

      • It is a great question to ask just why television is not of interest to the majority and what else they may be doing. Especially on a cold, wet Sunday night before a school/work day it would be assumed there would be more people considering television as an option.
There must be a lot of people doing things online plus gaming, socialising and work for some.

You also have to included regional ratings, because not everyone lives in an OzTAM area. You also have to factor in the number of people watching each screen… because I’m sure in most households more than one person is sitting in front of the TV watching.
