  1. Masterchef staying on top of the demographics and Rove with Show Me The Movie is also rising.

Very happy that Seven’s imitation of Nine’s renovation farce is too low for 7 to be satisfied with it. Maybe they can get the producers from MKR give them some of their storm in a teacup scripts to boost viewer numbers OR they could actually make some real reality TV programmes instead 😉

The woman in the Masterchef elimination last night, that only just saved herself, showed some initiative by quickly cooking samples at the start and tasting them, be4 preparing and cooking her dumplings. Even though she wrecked her 1st batch she had enough prepared food left to give each judge 1 dumpling each and apparently it was very tasty. It was good to watch. I also hope they bring back Masterclass, so much to learn from that and why not show it on Friday night after the Living Room. Listening…

To early to call it on House Rules yet as it is following the same ratings figures as it did last year first week in (like Monday getting identical ratings numbers), as is Masterchef and The Voice.

In 4 weeks (28 days) time it will be when it will show if House Rules is on the nose as by then last year it was dominating both The Voice and Masterchef, after as I said exactly the same soft ratings start. Four weeks in and it had 1.2 million Monday of the 4th week to the Voice 974,000 and Masterchef 765,000 and that continued all week and other weeks except for a clash with NRL State Of Origin on a Wednesday. However was either number 1 show or top 5 usually just beaten by True Story With Hamish & Andy those days (Masterchef bounced back when The Voice went to once a week).

  2. So happy to see Masterchef doing well so far. And I don’t even watch the show. But it is reassuring to know people are still enjoying reality tv that isn’t driven by drama and nastiness. Hope it continues to do well. Maybe I should actually start watching it more consistently.
