Long-running X Factor UK judge Louis Walsh is leaving the show after a 13 year run, with Sharon Osbourne to return for Live shows.
But he will remain a key talent for Thames and Syco’s other properties.
“I’ve had a fantastic 13 years on The X Factor but the show needs a change and I’m ready to leave,” he said.
“I’m looking forward to another series of Ireland’s Got Talent, going back to my day job as a manager, writing my memoirs and seeing the world!”
Sharon Osbourne added: “I can’t wait to get back to the judges’ desk. I love the new format.”
Creator Simon Cowell will return to The X Factor for the new series with three new fellow judges being announced in due course.
The X Factor UK airs in Australia on FOX8.

It’s not the judges that’s the problem, it’s the change in format last year that was very confusing. An elimination followed by a sing-off to win a holiday (who cares). If it’s not broken don’t fix it.
