  1. Hi David,

Slightly off topic, but did Ch 10 lose its L&O SVU rights. 9Now has an ep from Season 2 on their site. Ch 9 pick up the older seasons and Ch 10 kept the new ones?.

    Enjoy your hiatus

    • Season 1 was on GEM last year.

Ten have the rights for the more recent series, currently on a break until it resumes in the US later in the year.

  2. A massive drop from Season 1 but nine still won last night. I still watched Ninja & noticed that a few contestants from S1 still had a chance of competing in the 2nd season. The obstacles have been modified and a few people have failed the course. What’s annoying me apart from Ben & Bec screaming was the pop-up watermark for the Ninja Warrior Tomorrow & 7:30pm during the program. I even had the chance of watching the unseen runs on the 9now app.

  3. Huge drop for Ninja Warrior and i think the ratings are more of what i expected for the first season. It was such an overhyped show imo. Not my type of show and the hosts are so annoying along with the squealing kids. Its unappealing to me.

  4. Really surprised about Ninja, still good results but certainly lost a lot of it’s appeal since last year but it could gain ground as it progresses, if not think 9 will be very disappointed, perhaps The Block might help it’s ratings, 9 should win this week though with State of Origin being televised. Also have to commend 7 for its coverage of the Thailand rescue, as pointed out by Jason the only channel to cover it live last night

  5. I was watching House Rules and switched over to Ninja s couple of times during ads, only to hear Ninja contestants kids squealing and screeching, and Gen Fordham’s annoying monotone voice, never again.

  6. Think that Crimes That Shook he World figure is for 7 News coverage of the Thailand cave rescue. The only network awake and reporting in real time. ABC News 30 mins or more behind, running a One On One repeat, again. Nine and TEN? Nothing. Everyone home in bed. Must be frustrating for 9 and TEN reporters on the scene trying to report a major news event live.

    • Was really looking forward to it but a huge let down!! Between seeing the same old contestants try again and fail and Ben Fordham staring at the camera like a duck caught in headlights was enough for us. 6 out of 6 in our house agreed to switch off and flick between MC & HR
