  1. It seems like they have just renamed the existing “On Demand” service & added more tailored recommendations. Is that the only change? I see a future where Foxtel combines On Demand (now Fox flicks) with the Foxtel Store. It makes no sense that I can pay for a movie on the store, but I need a movies subscription to download from fox flicks. Surely they can make more $$$ by opening up fox flicks to everyone and making it all pay per view.

  2. This sounds like a promo for Foxtels 4K satellite service, I suspect you will need to be a dedicated movie buff to get full value satisfaction as the choice of movies are also available elsewhere and likely at a cheaper cost albeit not in 4K. Foxtel will want a positive consumer response for this business initiative but you have to say Foxtel have left their move to 4K and streaming rather late as the competition have a head start.

  3. Great idea Foxtel. Now all I have to do is upgrade to IQ4 (or 3 if thats too expensive). Which means of course making a concerted effort to watch all the stuff on my current machine b4 I have to return it.

    1. I’ve had the new IQ4 box for about a week. Installed by a tech. Not a single problem so far, it works a treat and so much better than the 8 year Mystar HD box I had. On demand streaming in HD is brilliant. Tons of HD movies and TV shows. Foxtel says there is only one box (IQ4) for sale now, so there is no going backwards with the tech. No I don’t work for Foxtel. But would be lost for live tv without them as FTA reception where I live is pathetic.
