Returning: Outlander

Season 3 of Outlander begins next Thursday on SBS.

This aired on Pay TV last September and includes Australia’s own David Berry (A Place to Call Home).

The time jumping chronicles continue as Claire (Caitriona Balfe) journeys forward in time from her life in 18th-century Scotland with Jamie (Sam Heughan) to her original existence in 1948. Pregnant with Jamie’s baby, she must re-enter her old life and pick up her marriage to husband Frank as if nothing’s changed, while Jamie is left behind coping with the loss of his beloved Sassanach.

Season Three, Episode One: The Battle Joined
As Jamie is imprisoned in 1746 following a devastating defeat at Culloden Moor, Claire is in the 20th Century struggling with her grief as she prepares to give birth to their child.
