SBS have today announced the return of the W-League for the 2018-19 season.
15 matches will be shown Live and in HD on SBS VICELAND and streamed via The World Game website and app.
Season 11 will introduce Thursday Night Football, allowing 13 stand-alone regular season matches in prime-time, including two on Friday night. W-League also continues on FOX Sports.
“It is our desire to make the Westfield W-League the football league of choice for the best female footballers in the world and football fans,” W-League boss Greg O’Rourke said.
“Working closely with all our stakeholders, I am proud to say that we achieved this with all 57 matches available Live for fans via broadcast or stream locally, and selected matches into key international markets (USA and UK).
“It’s also fantastic to welcome back SBS for another season of the Westfield W-League on free-to-air TV, with 15 matches as well as the Finals Series.”
Season 11 begins Thursday October 25 as Sydney FC battle the Western Sydney Wanderers at Marconi Stadium.
