Gallery: Q&A audience up close & personal
Every pore, every wayward eyebrow hair is on display for the nation when you visit the Q&A studio.

If you’re heading into the Q&A studio audience, you may want to check your make-up first.
No other show on TV frames its very serious faces with such scrutiny. Every pore, every wayward eyebrow hair is on display for the nation to see.
As Mad as Hell has recently noted, extreme close-ups are part of the visual language of the forum show, presumably to demonstrate that the audience is deep in thought over panel opinions (because you can’t be thinking if you’re in a wide shot, right?).
In high definition, there is nowhere to hide. Not even Tony Jones’ mug is this big on our screens.

Showing off the new HD studio cameras!.
The Sydney Q&A studio must be one of the last in the country to be converted to HD some weeks ago.
Looks like they’re thinking about where they left their car in the ABC car park.
Hah…never really thought about it…but you are right…sort of glad I don’t have HD… ?
