Returning: Just For Laughs Australia

Just For Laughs Australia returns to the Comedy channel for its 6th Season in January, hosted once again by comedian Tommy Little.

Filmed at the Sydney Opera House, the showcase will include Matt Okine, Rove McManus, Becky Lucas, Peter Helliar, Cal Wilson, Troy Kinne, Fortune Feimster, Nazeem Hussein, Nikki Osbourne, Steve Byrne and Reggie Watts as well as performances from Colin, Brad and Greg from Whose Line Is It Anyway?

Fraser Stark, Group General Manager of Foxtel’s Entertainment and Music channels said, “Every year, just as the weather heats up, Just for Laughs delivers the best stand-up talent in the world. It’s a big highlight on the comedy calendar and Foxtel can’t wait to deliver it to our audience in a hilarious ten-part series. And to have more of Tommy Little back on our screens as host is always going to be a good thing.”

Tommy Little added, “These shows are basically just me hosting a party with the best comedians from all around the world. Like all parties, it’s great times, it’s hilarious and someone usually hits the midori illusion shakers too hard and spews out the back.”

The Just For Laughs Comedy Festival 2018 is held at the iconic Sydney Opera House from November 19 – 25 featuring a range of different acts and world-class comedians appearing throughout the festival. It will once again be filmed to create a 10-part stand up series for The Comedy Channel and hosted by one of Australia’s most-loved comedians Tommy Little.

Tommy Little brings his irreverent and infectious comedy style to the role of host and keeps the jokes cracking while some of the best Australian and international comedians perform.
