Returning: Just for Laughs Australia

A seventh season of comedy showcase Just For Laughs Australia will screen on The Comedy Channel in January featuring Skit Box, Cam Knight, Judith Lucy, Rhys Nicholson, Tom Ballard, Tommy Little, Dave Thornton and more.

New presenter this season is Nick Cody.

Making his Just For Laugh’s Australia hosting debut, Nick Cody has become a regular fixture on TV and radio in Australia as well as selling out shows internationally. Cody’s global popularity rose when he appeared on Conan O’Brien’s late night talk show and became one of only a handful of Aussies to be invited to perform stand-up on the US television network, Comedy Central. A natural on stage, with constant rave reviews, Cody has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Soho Theatre in London, the invite-only Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, as well as the New York Comedy Festival & Johannesburg Comedy Festival.

The ten-part, half-hour new season was filmed for Foxtel at The Just For Laughs Comedy Festival 2019 at the iconic Sydney Opera House, which featured a range of different acts and world-class comedians appearing throughout the festival.
