Upcoming Ricky Gervais comedy After Life has released a trailer.

Gervais is creator, executive producer, director and star.

The series also features Kerry Godliman, Tom Basden, Tony Way, Penelope Wilton, David Bradley & Ashley Jensen.

Tony (Ricky Gervais) had a perfect life. But after his wife Lisa dies, Tony changes. After contemplating taking his own life, he decides instead to live long enough to punish the world by saying and doing whatever he likes from now on. He thinks it’s like a Super Power — not caring about himself or anyone else — but it turns out to be tricky when everyone is trying to save the nice guy they used to know.

Friday March 8 on Netflix.

  1. This looks brilliant. Ricky is very talented.
    Looks a little similar to ‘Derek’ which I absolutely loved.
    Good to see David Earl back again. He was hilarious as the smutty, pathetic Kev in ‘Derek.’
    A shame it’s not on FTA.
