Seven will broadcast the Big Bash League across 7 or 7mate from Thursday – Sunday.
The winners of the two semi-finals with Hobart Hurricanes v Melbourne Stars / Melbourne Renegades v Sydney Sixers will progress through to the BBL Final on Sunday.
Glenn Maxwell will lead the Melbourne Stars into a semi final against the batting might of ladder leaders Hobart Hurricanes on Thursday night, followed by the Melbourne Renegades hosting the Sydney Sixers at Marvel Stadium on Friday night.
Maxwell turned on a stunning batting display yesterday at the MCG smashing six sixes and taking the wicket of Sixers skipper Moises Henriques to clinch the final top four spot. The Stars will need to be at their best to tackle the Hurricanes down at Blundstone Arena where Matthew Wade, D’arcy Short and George Bailey have all enjoyed stellar seasons.
Sean Abbott and Steve O’Keefe will be aiming to bowl the Sixers into the final as they face a Renegades line-up boasting white ball star Aaron Finch and all-rounder Dan Christian.
Fans of the cricket will be able to keep up to date with all the action by following @7Cricket on social, with highlights and interviews available on the 7Sport app.

And of course also on Fox Cricket with no ads during play and better commentators.
Better commentators like Brett Lee, Andrew Symonds, Ian Healy and Darren Lehmann……
Do agree 7 could use more of certain commentators though- Ponting and Sthalekar come readily to mind.
Yeah, maybe they’ll even host these ones from the grounds.
By the way, once over is called or a wicket is taken the ball is dead, so the ads 7 are having aren’t actually in play…..
Go Stars!
still disappointed that the BBL Final is being held in the afternoon
I’m calling it – Hurricanes V Renegades in the final, with the Hurricanes winning. I shall return to this post on Sunday night to gloat…
That is pretty obvious. Doesn’t take much to predict this so don’t feel too proud of yourself mate!!
Oh well, I was wrong, but it was still a thrilling match.
