We enjoyed Dancing with the stars on Ten. Good hosts and great contestants and the new judges impressed us too. Venue is lovely and the band/singers were great. All around a very promising start and yes we will be watching the whole series. Not worried it didn’t kill in the ratings war. We are more interested in having something nice and entertaining to watch instead of the trash that is winning the ratings. Tank you Ten Network & CBS for bringing quality TV back early in 2019 🙂
I can’t remember when MKR rating was this low…
DWTS was great. Pure entertainment. I find it sad that in the broad sense, Australian commercial FTA TV is just back to back reality shows. At least DWTS was live, raw and just pure entertainment.
TEN should not be happy for a new flagship program to debut @ 620k. All the excuses some people are putting forward does not cut it. TEN need to aspire to ratings like 7 and 9. Many people are making comments about how well DWTS went last night but look at the ratings. If TEN and all these comments are OK with the result then shut the door now.
Looks like it’s us ‘oldies’ that watched and liked DWTS.
I was throughly entertained!
Not surprised at those numbers for DWTS. Didn’t 7 cancel DWTS due to poor ratings. So why would it do any better on 10.
I enjoyed DWTS too, it also got some really good feedback from Twitter
This year will build awareness and audience, and I predict that next year it will really take off if placed in a better timeslot, not up against MAFS+MKR
Poor 10. I feel sorry for them. Can’t even launch a big show above the 600k’s.
Yeah, I was hoping for 10’s sake DWTS would do better. Still, not that far behind MKR.
I enjoyed Dancing with the Stars. It was as good, if not better, than past seasons.
