Twins join new Bondi Vet cast

Two more vets have joined the new-look Bondi Vet, coming to Nine later this year.

Identical twin sisters, Drs Audrey and Alison Shen, who run a mobile vet business in Sydney, were discovered during the talent search conducted by WTFN.

They join vets from across Australia including Dr Kate Adams (Sydney), Dr Alex Hynes (Gold Coast), Dr Lewis Hunt (Sydney), Dr Danni Dusek (Melbourne) and Dr Pete Ricci (Perth).

WTFN’s Director of Content, Steve Oemcke said, “We’re delighted to add Audrey and Alison to the cast for the upcoming season from Bondi Vet. They will bring a lot of energy and fun to the show, as well as their undoubted professionalism as mobile vets.

“Audrey and Alison came to us via our nationwide search for a new Bondi Vet, and we’ve always thought they’d be brilliant characters in this series. We’re really pleased with our final line up, which will bring a range of amazing, heartfelt pet stories from across Australia.”

Dr Audrey Shen said, “We’re thrilled to be joining such a globally successful TV series as Bondi Vet.”

Dr Alison Shen added, “We’ve been fans of the show for years, and can’t wait to share our love of animals with the world!”

The new look series, whilst not strictly casting from the Bondi region, is said to stay true to the spirit of the show, originally led by Dr. Chris Brown.
