This week on SBS VICELAND The Feed delves into alternative medicine. Can 60,000-year-old healing methods help 21st-century illnesses?
Conventional medicine often rejects the outsider, the person promising an unconventional cure or treatment. Is this just the medical fraternity protecting its own or a necessary shield against snake oil salesmen? We meet two medical outsiders – the naturopath who says she can cure cancer, and the doctor who tries to by illegally doling out cannabis oil. The medical establishment has tried to shut them down. So are they cures or quacks?
