Kochie was captive for around 30 minutes at Martin Place, but at least he got a Facebook video out of it.

Check the date …..yep it was April 2 when Sunrise posted a video of David Koch being rescued from a trapped lift at Martin Place studios.
Kochie was captive for around 30 minutes when Mark Beretta and Natalie Barr “rescued” him, complete with a Facebook Live video.
All this while Nat had a pre-paid Pilates class to get to.. no make-up, no hair fixed…. drama, drama…
Security Steve was also on hand, while Anne Sanders in make-up reckoned she heard the yelling. Whatevs.
“I was yelling and no-one came,” sighed Kochie. “They were only interested in getting followers.”
And if I had written this on April 1 nobody would have believed me…
You can catch the video here.

A pity they didn’t just leave him there.
Why, because Basil Zempalis (or whatever) is better?
Dear Kochie,
On the lift control panel you will find a button that will enable you to talk to the lift company and report your incarceration. Simples.
Maybe…. it’s an old building so who knows.
No from memory it was where the old Rural Bank was and it was demolished in the mid eighties.
Pretty much state of the art office building.

Typical floor plates of circa 1,100 sqm.
Modern…
State of the art when built yes but was that 80s or so?
Thats from the building’s current website. Office buildings undergo major regular upgrades to stay competitive, especially things like lifts and air con. Sounds like a desperate publicity stunt.
I think there’s a difference between publicity stunts and a bit of social media fluff, but that’s just me.
How did a lift get trapped?
Where is the interview with the lift technician?
A cross to Kochie’s mum and special comments from the fire high rescue team should also be there.
It’s hardly the Beaconsfield mine, Kochie!
Ha! **Jumps in ambulance***
