Stars of the award-winning series’ The Indian Dream Hotel take off on a new globetrotting adventure to explore which is the better place to live out your old age. Each exotic location offers a once in a lifetime experience of local traditions and cultures, as they seek to unlock the secrets to a happy long life. This time it could be Iceland’s nature based lifestyle that boasts life-long expectancies; the gentle Buddhist approach prevalent in Thailand, the cultural highlights of reinvigorated Cuba, or even the communist conditions of China. Each cast of four retirees spend six days in each location. Just like The Indian Dream Hotel they keep their trip as immersive and authentic as possible by aspiring to live like a local in every way. Whether that means a freezing sea swim in Reykjavik, or a mass morning dance in Chengdu’s central square.
