Airdate: Deadwood: The Movie

Language (of course!)

Deadwood: The Movie, which returns to South Dakota 10 years after the series concluded, will screen on FOX Showcase in early June.

The 2 hour film will screen on Monday June 3, just two days after its US broadcast.

Continuing the story begun in David Milch’s critically acclaimed, Emmy-winning HBO series, the feature-length presentation is written by Milch, directed by Daniel Minahan and features original cast members from the series. Stars Ian McShane (Al Swearengen), Timothy Olyphant (Seth Bullock), Molly Parker (Alma Ellsworth), Paula Malcomson (Trixie), John Hawkes (Sol Star), Anna Gunn (Martha Bullock), Dayton Callie (Charlie Utter), Brad Dourif (Doc Cochran), Robin Weigert (“Calamity” Jane Canary), William Sanderson (E.B. Farnum), and Kim Dickens (Joanie Stubbs).

Monday June 3 at 8.30pm on FOX Showcase.
