Australia completes second Eurovision rehearsal

Kate Miller-Heidke soars through 2nd rehearsal with some minor tweaks from the Aussie delegation.

Kate Miller-Heidke has completed her second rehearsal at Eurovision in Tel Aviv.

Here is what the Eurovision bloggers had to say:

Wiwibloggs:
If the first rehearsal was stratospheric, Australia’s second rehearsal at the Eurovision Song Contest took us far beyond the atmosphere. Kate Miller-Heidke and her backing vocalists have now refined the “nothing holding me down” segment. It has greater kinetic energy, greater purpose and adds to a greater sense of climax. She escapes Earth, accelerates away and we want to follow her. Barnstorming stuff from the Aussies.

ESCDaily:
Another strong runthrough for Kate Miller-Heidke. This time, for the end where the girls are swinging through the air, the camera crew manages to get it all on screen. Australia delivers a visible feast this year

ESCExtra:
There were no visible changes in Kate’s performance at the second rehearsal. She and her dancers are still high up on the poles and are floating over the stage. Kate sounds good and it seems that she felt more comfortable on the stage today.

OnEurope:
Australia still looks absolutely f***ing ridiculous on the TV Screens. In good news though they have managed to iron out the issues with the Matte world on the television screens but Kate is still flung around the stage inn the final minute of the song and appears to almost rotate into one of the backing singers on at least more than one occasion.

There are 3 Dress Rehearsals planned next week ahead of Wednesday’s Live show.
